We are pleased to announce original music is back at Gather on Broadway and a returning artist to the Gather stage!

Genevieve Heyward is currently based in Nashville, but proudly a Wisconsin girl at heart, this rising indie rock artist has been living and breathing music nearly full-time, touring across the country nationally and internationally. With a raspy yet smooth voice that cuts through any room, she crafts indie rock songs that are as honest as they are energetic.

This past fall, she released her debut EP ‘Sprinkles’, a raw and magnetic record that captures her authentic songwriting and unmistakable sound. On stage, she’s opened for artists like Ethel Cain, Butch Walker, Willie Carlisle, Pat MacDonald (‘Future’s so Bright I Gotta Wear Shades’), and Gayle (‘abcdefu’)—holding her own with a presence that’s equal parts grit and charm.

Currently appearing on the newest season of American Idol, she’s winning over audiences nationwide—not just for her powerhouse vocals, but for her quick wit and unfiltered personality. Affectionately nicknamed “Pickle Girl” during her Idol run, she’s become known for her humor, relatability, and unapologetic authenticity. Whether she’s commanding a stage to thousands or writing alone with her guitar, she remains completely herself—funny, fearless, and refreshingly real. With relentless drive and a sound that feels both timeless and brand new, she’s not just chasing a dream—she’s already living it.
